Jamie Williams - Singer/Songwriter

....based in my own county of Essex, England, Jamie has been singing in bands since 1993, including 4 years with heavy rockers The Blast and 5 years with soul/blues band The Harvey Williams Band; writing many of the bands songs.

Jamie was also a founder member of original acoustic band Cavacious.

Jamie's latest project is Rebel Souls, a collaberation with fab bassist Josh Graham, keyboard maestro Keith High & ace drummer Ant Cummings, together they play original music in a country/soul style with a hint of jazz, funk & blues thrown in. He is also part of Jamie Williams Band playing a funky up-tempo fusion of blues, rock and soul (see www.myspace.com/jamiewilliamsband and www.jamiewilliamsband.co.uk) They perform regularly on the pub/club circuit throughout the eastern counties and can also be seen at festivals. Jamie is an incredibly prolific & talented songwriter with a catalogue of over 1,000 songs to his credit, some of which have been performed & recorded by The Blast, The Harvey Williams Band, Cavacious and the Jamie Williams Band while others he performs as part of his acoustic solo set. His debut solo album 'This Is Me' was recorded in 2004 & has been well received .
