I recently attended a 5 day 'how to make mosaics' residential course with Professional Mosaic Teacher, Emma Biggs, a senior mosaics tutor at West Dean College in Chichester.
I was quite nervous about it .... but I needn't have worried, it was brilliant!
Emma Biggs is a professional mosaic artist. She established a Mosaic Workshop in 1987 — the UK’s most thriving mosaic studio and has written a number of books on mosaic including the best-selling Encyclopaedia of Mosaic Techniques. Her work is in public galleries, museums and private collections so I was very fortunate to be her pupil..even if just for a few days! Click here to visit Emma Biggs website...very interesting!
